These terms cover your free makeover and, if you keep it, your monthly plan. They’re written to be read. If anything is unclear, email us before you sign up.
1. Who we are
Brandvue Studio is a trading name of OEB Business LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17170588).
Registered office: 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA, United Kingdom
Email: [email protected]
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean OEB Business LTD, trading as Brandvue Studio. “You” means the business that asks for a makeover, and the person filling in the form on its behalf.
2. These terms are for businesses
Our service is for businesses, not for personal use. By asking for a makeover you confirm that you’re acting for a business and that you’re allowed to agree to these terms for it.
3. Your free makeover
Your makeover is a finished proposal for how your business looks online. It can include a short strategy, a logo and brand (colors and fonts), a website, and updated content and images for your Google Business Profile, Facebook and Instagram.
- Free, no card. You don’t pay anything or give card details to get your makeover.
- 24 hours. We send your makeover within 24 hours of receiving your completed form and photos. If we need something else from you, the 24 hours starts when we have it.
- Nothing goes live until you say yes. We don’t publish anything or change your existing website or profiles before you decide to keep your makeover.
- No obligation. If you don’t want it, you owe nothing.
- One per business. Each business can have one free makeover.
We can decline a request, for example if your business isn’t a fit for the service (see section 6) or if we can’t work with the content involved (see section 11).
4. Keeping it: your monthly plan
When you tell us you want to keep your makeover, you start a monthly plan.
- Price. $349 (US dollars) a month, plus any taxes that apply. There’s no setup fee.
- Billing. You pay monthly in advance, starting on the day you say yes, through our payment provider. You authorize us to charge your payment method each month until you cancel.
- No contract. There’s no minimum term. You can cancel at any time (see section 8).
- Launch. We put your website live on our hosting and, with the access you give us, update your Google, Facebook and Instagram profiles to match.
- While you’re on the plan we host your website and keep it running.
- Price changes. We’ll give you at least 30 days’ notice by email before changing your monthly price. If you don’t want to continue at the new price, you can cancel before it applies.
- Missed payments. If a payment fails and isn’t fixed within 14 days of us telling you, we may take your website offline until it is.
5. What’s not included
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, the service doesn’t include paid advertising, an online store or online ordering, booking software, or photo shoots. If you already use a booking tool, your new website links to it.
6. Who it’s for
The service is built for owner-run businesses of every kind. It isn’t designed for franchises that must use a corporate website, for online-only stores, or for businesses that need an online store or ordering built into their site.
7. Who owns what
- Yours from launch day: your domain name, your logo and brand files, and your Google, Facebook and Instagram profiles.
- Your website runs on our hosting while you’re on the plan. After 12 paid months in a row, we hand the whole site over to you, free, if you ask.
- If you cancel before 12 paid months, you keep your domain, logo, brand files and profiles. The website stays online until the end of your last paid month, then we take it down.
- If you don’t keep your makeover, the designs and writing we made stay ours, and you may not use them. We won’t publish them under your business’s name.
- Fonts, stock images and other third-party material we use are covered by their own licenses. You can use them as part of your makeover within those licenses.
8. Cancelling
Email [email protected] from the address on your account, or reply to any of our emails, and tell us you want to cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you’ve already paid for, and you won’t be charged again. We don’t refund part-months. Our Cancellation & Refunds page has the details.
9. Your content and your accounts
- You keep ownership of the photos, logos, text and other material you send us. You give us permission to use, edit and publish it to make and run your makeover.
- You confirm that you have the right to give us that material, and that using it as part of your makeover won’t break anyone else’s rights.
- When you give us access to your Google, Facebook, Instagram, domain or other accounts, we only use it to deliver the service. You can remove our access at any time.
- Google, Meta and other platforms set their own rules. We can’t control their decisions, such as approving changes, removing reviews, suspending accounts or ranking listings.
10. Showing your makeover
We’ll only show your makeover or your business’s name in our portfolio or advertising if you give us permission.
11. Content we won’t work with
We won’t make or host content that is illegal, misleading, infringes someone else’s rights, or promotes hate or violence. If your website or profiles are used for anything like that, we may suspend the service.
12. Our responsibilities and their limits
- We provide the service with reasonable skill and care.
- We work to keep your website online, but we can’t promise it will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance or problems with hosting providers.
- We can’t guarantee particular results, such as search rankings, review scores, or a number of calls, bookings or customers.
- We aren’t responsible for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit, revenue, business or goodwill.
- Our total responsibility to you for anything related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
- Nothing in these terms limits responsibility that can’t legally be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
13. Your information
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information, and our Cookie Policy explains the cookies used on our website.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If you’re on a plan, we’ll email you at least 30 days before a change that affects you takes effect. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed.
15. General
- These terms, together with anything we agree with you in writing, are the whole agreement between you and us.
- Nobody else has rights under these terms (the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 doesn’t apply).
- If part of these terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies.
- We aren’t responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.
- If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
